01Add-on: swap (DEX)

Create a DEX on your own chain. A swap your holders can use.

A new chain has no exchange of its own. The swap add-on lets holders trade your coin for other tokens right on your chain, priced by pools anyone can see.

  • $599 one-time
  • On your own chain
  • EVM, Cosmos, Avalanche L1

02Why it matters

A coin people can trade is a coin people use.

Holders want a way in and a way out. Without one, every trade is a private deal in a chat.

Without a swap

“Where can I buy some?”
“DM me and we will work something out.”
  • Trades happen in private chats, on trust
  • No public price anyone can point to

With a swap

“Where can I buy some?”
“On our swap. Here is the link.”
  • Holders trade any time, on chain
  • The pool shows the price for everyone

Your chain is new

Big exchanges are not deployed on it. Your swap is the first venue.

A public price

The pool sets a price anyone can check.

Pairs with a bridge

Bring tokens in from Ethereum, BNB Chain or Cosmos, then trade them.

03How it works

How a swap prices your coin.

There is no order book. Two reserves and one formula set every price.

The rule: x times y stays the same

AUR: fewerUSDT: morex * y = kafter someone buys AUR

Every trade moves the balance between the two reserves. The price is simply their ratio, so a big trade in a small pool moves the price a lot.

Price impact in a 10,000 AUR / 10,000 USDT pool

100 USDT
+2%
500 USDT
+10%
1,000 USDT

Worked from the constant-product formula, not market data. Deeper pools move less for the same trade.

04Know the field

Your own DEX, or a pool somewhere else?

Vendors sell DEXs to everyone. The honest question is whether you need one.

  1. Is your coin on its own chain?

    Built with RocketRPC, it is.

  2. Does your chain already have a DEX?

A brand new chain has none.

  3. Add your own swap

The first place to trade your coin.

If your coin were a token on Ethereum, anyone could create a pool for it on an existing DEX, and you would not need this add-on. That is the honest other path.

05What you get

A swap on your chain, ready for liquidity.

The platform sets up the swap and keeps it online. Filling the pools is your move.

Liquidity is your job

Pools start empty.

A swap with nothing in its pools has nothing to trade. You put in your coin and a base token, and that sets the price.

You deposit both sides

your coin
+
a base token

Your first deposit sets the starting price.

Hosted and kept online

Kept running on a dedicated server for the swap.

On your own domain

Give it a subdomain with a single DNS record.

Smart-contract bases

Built for EVM, Cosmos and Avalanche L1 chains.

Pairs with a bridge

Bring outside tokens in, then trade them here.

Now or later

Add it when there is something worth trading.

06Price

Create a DEX without the five-figure quote.

Agencies quote thousands for a DEX clone. Here it is a fixed price on your own chain.

Hosting after launch

The swap runs on one more server: $9 a month on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Avalanche L1 bases, $19 on Cosmos.

07Clear lines

What a swap needs from you, and what is not included.

A DEX is a market, and markets need money in them. Here is what that means.

Good to know

  • Liquidity is your job. Your deposit of both tokens sets the starting price.
  • Shallow pools move a lot on small trades. See the price impact chart above.
  • Locking or burning your pool tokens tells holders the liquidity cannot be pulled. That is your choice to make.
  • Bitcoin-style, Tron and Solana bases cannot add a swap.

Not included

  • Liquidity or market making
  • A security audit
  • Exchange or tracker listings
  • A price oracle
  • Legal advice

09Questions

Swap (DEX) questions

Real questions people ask before they launch a DEX.

How to develop a decentralized exchange?

To create a swap on your own chain, add it in the builder or your dashboard for $599 one-time. The platform sets it up and hosts it. Then you add liquidity so there is something to trade.

Decentralized exchanges: how do they work?

A swap like this one uses pools instead of an order book. Each pool holds two tokens, and the ratio between them is the price. Every trade shifts the ratio a little.

What is a decentralized exchange and how can it help me trade my tokens?

It is a market that runs on chain, with no company in the middle of each trade. For a new coin it is often the first public place to buy and sell.

Is it possible to build a DEX without having a token?

A DEX trades tokens, so it needs at least two to pair. On your chain, your coin and a base token make the first pool.

Where does the liquidity come from?

From you. You deposit your coin and a base token into the pool. Liquidity is not included in the price.

What is price impact?

How much one trade moves the price. In a 10,000 by 10,000 pool, a buy of 10 percent of one side lifts the price by about 21 percent, before fees.

Is the DEX audited?

No audit is included. If you plan to put meaningful money in the pools, get an independent audit first.

White label DEX vs custom DEX development: which is better?

A white label DEX is ready-made and fast. A custom build fits your exact needs and costs far more. This add-on is the ready-made path, on your own chain.

Can I just list my coin on Uniswap instead?

Only if your coin lives on a chain where Uniswap is deployed. A brand new chain has no Uniswap, which is why this add-on exists.

Which bases support the swap?

Built for EVM, Cosmos and Avalanche L1 chains. It is not offered on Bitcoin-style, Tron or Solana bases.

Give your coin a market.

A swap on your own chain, $599 one-time. You bring the liquidity.
