XRP Ledger node questions
How long until my node is ready?
Ready within 24 hours of payment, usually sooner. Your dashboard shows the sync progress, and your private endpoint appears there once the node is live.
Is there a request limit?
No per-request billing. The node is dedicated to you, so the only limit is what the server can handle.
Which software does the node run?
rippled, also called xrpld, the XRP Ledger server software. We keep the software updated through network upgrades.
Why is the XRP Ledger on the big-server tier?
The XRP Ledger docs recommend a much bigger server than most chains need, so it runs on our big-server tier at a higher monthly price.
How do I connect to my node?
Send standard XRP Ledger JSON-RPC calls to your endpoint, for example POST https://xrp-2q6d.nodes.rocketrpc.com/YOUR_KEY with the method server_info. Your key is part of the URL.
Can I use it to check payments?
Yes. Your node serves the same ledger data as any XRP Ledger server, so you can read account balances, look up transactions and submit signed payments through the JSON-RPC API.
