Starknet node questions
How long until my node is ready?
Ready within 24 hours of payment, usually sooner. Your dashboard shows the sync progress, and your private endpoint appears there once the node is live.
Is there a request limit?
No per-request billing. The node is dedicated to you, so the only limit is what the server can handle.
Which software does the node run?
Juno or Pathfinder, the two main Starknet node clients, plus the Ethereum connection a Starknet node needs. We keep the software updated through network upgrades.
Does it work with starknet.js?
Yes. starknet.js lets you set a custom node URL. Point it at your endpoint instead of a public one.
How do I connect to my node?
Send standard Starknet JSON-RPC calls to your endpoint, for example https://stark-9d2w.nodes.rocketrpc.com/YOUR_KEY. Your key is part of the URL, so you do not need a separate username and password.
Is the node EVM compatible?
No. Starknet has its own JSON-RPC methods, such as starknet_blockNumber, not the Ethereum ones. Use a Starknet library such as starknet.js, not ethers.
